There are going to be some very interesting match-ups in this dual. There is a lot of wrestling talent on each of the teams. Oregon is represented by several state champions including 3x state finalist Marty Eng (119), 4x state placers Jake McCoy (152) and Keegan Davis(160), this years undefeated state champion Charlie Alexander (HWT), and 4x state champion Zack Giesen (171).
California has many wrestlers that are ranked in the top 2 in their state, and also 2 wrestlers ranked in the top 10 in the nation for prep wrestling! Billy Murphy (130) is ranked number 2 in the nation, and Chris Lewis (HWT) is ranked number 9 in the nation.
